USER AGREEMENT

You as ‘the user’ can access TaxSum.com ('the site'), subject to the terms and conditions of use, as changed and / or updated from time to time entirely at the discretion of SNK E-Tax Solutions India Private Limited as mentioned below. The term of this Agreement shall continue and would be in force and are applicable to the user till the time the user access this site & its services and as long as the user is a registered member of the website. Nothing in these Terms of Service should be construed to confer any rights to third party beneficiaries.

Eligibility

In order to become a registered member the user must be a person of 18 years and above.

Any person being a minor i.e. having not completed 18 years of age is unable to enter into contract lawfully and hence the website does not offer its services to minor. However, since the Income Tax provides a minor to file income tax return in certain circumstances, in such instance we presume that the parent/guardian has registered himself to enroll the minor only as a tax payer on our web site & all the inputs, information provided our under guidance & assistance of at least one of his parent/guardian.

INFORMATION AND DATA SECURITY / PROTECTION AND LIABILITY

The website will take and hold all the required information to our best knowledge on our data server in the most secured layers but do not take any responsibility or liability of such data security / protection.

The website will only collect, store, use, and your personal information (including email address) as it is defined by our privacy statement and as regulated by Indian laws.

The information collected on the website is stored & used to prepare and electronically file users tax returns, as well as notify the user when new/enhanced products and services become available. We do not disclose user(s) information to third parties except when the user requests to e-file their return. However, the website will disclose the information to the appropriate government officials if the law so compels. We only communicate with users when necessary, such as issues with the user(s) tax return or to provide requested services.

Only information the user has given us (including email address) is stored by us. We do not supplement your information with information from other companies. The exception to this would be when your employer has bought the services/products for bulk use for its employees and to facilitate that we may upload information provided by your employer.

CHANGES IN THE COST OF SERVICE

The company holds right to change the price of services without any prior notification to the clients / users.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Only in the case of non-operative condition of the services provided online on the internet media, the company may consider to refund proportionate or full amount of one year service charge paid by clients / users.

We do not come under any financial or moral liability or obligations more than one year of paid service charge.

ILLEGAL OR UNAUTHORISED USES OF THE SITE

The user must not use the website and its services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including misusing permanent account number (PAN) of another person. International users agree to comply with all Indian laws & regulations, including laws regulating the export of data from your country of residence. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, graphics, that you submit, & post on the website.
Other examples of illegal or unauthorized uses include, but are not limited to:

Modifying, adapting, translating, or reverse engineering any portion of the website and any of its content

Each registration is for a single individual user. If we reasonably believe that a User Name and Password are being used / misused in any manner as clarified above we reserve the right to cancel access rights immediately without notice, and block access to all users from that IP address without giving any refunds.
